ARC Raiders Deadline Recipe: How to Craft the Deadline Mine and Farm Materials Efficiently

Beitrag von TurboTiger »

The Deadline Mine is one of the more useful explosive tools in ARC Raiders, especially for players who enjoy setting traps, controlling enemy movement, or preparing ambushes against both ARC machines and rival Raiders. While it is not the easiest explosive to craft, understanding the recipe and knowing where to gather the required materials can save a lot of time and resources.

What Is the Deadline Mine?

The Deadline Mine is a deployable explosive that detonates when triggered by nearby movement. Many players use it to defend extraction points, secure loot locations, or create defensive positions during intense fights.

For example, a squad defending an extraction zone can place two or three Deadline Mines along common approach routes. If an enemy team pushes aggressively, the mines can deal significant damage before the firefight even begins. In some cases, a single well-placed mine can completely change the outcome of an encounter.

Official Deadline Mine Crafting Recipe

To craft one Deadline Mine, you need:

Comet Igniter ×1

Explosive Compound ×3

ARC Circuitry ×2

In addition, you must first obtain and learn the Deadline Blueprint before the crafting option becomes available at the Explosives Bench.

This means the total crafting cost involves six separate resource items plus the blueprint unlock itself.

Why the Recipe Became More Expensive

Earlier versions of the game featured a simpler recipe, but Embark Studios later adjusted the requirements by adding the Comet Igniter as a mandatory component.

This change had a noticeable impact on the in-game economy. Before the adjustment, players could mass-produce explosive equipment with relatively common materials. After the update, the rare Comet Igniter became the primary bottleneck.

As a result, many players reported spending 20 to 40 minutes per raid specifically hunting Comet enemies in higher-risk areas to secure enough crafting materials for multiple mines.

How to Farm Comet Igniters

The Comet Igniter is obtained from Comet drones, which are among the more dangerous ARC units in the game.

A good farming strategy is to focus on high-threat zones where Comet spawns are more frequent. Bringing armor-piercing ammunition can significantly reduce the time needed to eliminate these enemies.

For instance, if a player defeats five Comet drones during a successful raid, they may secure enough Igniters to craft several Deadline Mines depending on drop rates and extraction success.

The biggest challenge is surviving the extraction afterward. Many players lose valuable components not because of ARC enemies, but because they are eliminated by other Raiders while carrying rare loot.

Farming Explosive Compound Efficiently

Explosive Compound is generally easier to acquire than Comet Igniters.

Industrial facilities, maintenance areas, warehouses, and military storage locations frequently contain crafting materials. During a typical 25-minute raid, experienced players can often gather enough Explosive Compound for multiple crafting projects.

Because the Deadline Mine requires three units per craft, it is smart to stockpile this resource whenever possible.

Best Ways to Get ARC Circuitry

ARC Circuitry drops from various robotic enemies and can also appear in technical containers and electronic storage locations.

Many players naturally accumulate ARC Circuitry while completing regular missions. If you focus on destroying medium-sized ARC units and looting technology-heavy areas, obtaining the required two pieces for the recipe is usually not difficult.

Where to Find the Deadline Blueprint

Before crafting becomes possible, you must learn the Deadline Blueprint.

Many experienced players recommend farming Stella Montis because blueprint spawns appear relatively frequently there. Areas worth checking include:

Red lockers in staff rooms

Loading bay storage sections

White cargo containers

Industrial maintenance areas

A practical example is running repeated Stella Montis loot routes. Some players report finding multiple valuable blueprints within five to ten successful raids when consistently searching these locations.

While hunting for blueprints, many players also collect other valuable crafting components. Communities discussing gear progression often mention resources, trading strategies, and equipment upgrades alongside topics such as U4N, buy arc raiders weapon blueprints, showing how important blueprint acquisition has become for endgame progression.

Is the Deadline Mine Worth Crafting?

For most players, the answer is yes.

Although the recipe requires several valuable components, the tactical advantages can outweigh the investment. A single mine can deal substantial damage, force enemies into unfavorable positions, or provide critical protection during extraction.

Consider a situation where a squad spends resources to craft three Deadline Mines. If those mines help secure an extraction carrying 50,000 to 100,000 Credits worth of loot, the crafting investment easily pays for itself.

The key is using the mines strategically rather than placing them randomly.

The Deadline Mine remains one of the most useful explosive tools available in ARC Raiders. Crafting it requires one Comet Igniter, three Explosive Compounds, and two ARC Circuitries, along with the Deadline Blueprint. The addition of the Comet Igniter has made crafting more challenging, but players who learn efficient farming routes can still produce mines consistently.

If you're planning difficult extractions, defending objectives, or preparing ambushes against other Raiders, investing time into farming the Deadline Mine recipe is often well worth the effort.
